Default Early lockback

My one and only Luger is a shooter only. Not a number matches but is a very good shooter. Recently the toggle has started to lock back before the mag is empty. It happens on every mag I own and at different times. Sometimes after the first round somtimes after three or four. No regularty to the malfunction. It would appear that the hold open device has a weak leaf spring and lets the hold open bounce up under recoil. The toggle locks back and never touches the base of the cartridge. Does anyone make a stronger or new spring to replace this one. I am sure it is the same spring that came in the gun when it wasmade in 1936. Thanks
