Question 1937 Hk

Looking at a 1937 Krieghoff. Everything I have seen in pictures looks ok. The serial number is in the 7900range. The inspection stamp under the right grip is a 7 , According to Gibson this should be a star after 6400 or so. Has anybody else seen a 1937 HK with a 7 inspection stamp ? The serial number on the frame looks fine. Could this be a frame made in 1936 when the 7 inspection stamp was used, and not utilized until 1937? Help. Bill
