Oh I knew it was a luger holster because its like the other 2 I have but I didnt know which luger it was for as the more I read here im quite sure there are more variations of lugers than any other type of gun in existance. I didnt know it was in the box till I had time to look thru it after work yesterday eve, there is a old hunting vest ans some old leather holsters that go to revolvers in the box also and it all has a musty smell. If the little circle is the maker it says c wiess braunschweic and the bird has WaA330 under it. Is 1938 the year the holster was made or the pistol that went inside and if they went to that much trouble why didnt they #sn the holster to the pistol. I guess I will start hunting a pistol to live in it as it does seem kinda empty. You have to remember that I never looked twice at a luger until a couple of months ago as I was a colt, winchester nut. I have a whole box of books about german firearms but with work being what it is I barley have time to read this forum. I dont know what croping photos is or how to do it so help there would be appreiciated. Thanks clint
