I discovered one day that one of the holsters used to carry 1911 type autos will also service well with a Luger. It's what some call a "Belt Slide" or "Bikini" holster. Mine is made by Galco International of Phoenix Arizona. The gun will sit in the holster vertically (no cant), the trigger is covered completely, there are 2 screws to adjust the tension (retention of the handgun). Mine is marked - YAQ212B. It may be serviceable for your use. Cost is reasonable.
