I don't shoot these or other "collectables". I like shooters and have had a few, but unfortunately they usually end up as part of a trade for another collectable. My goal now is to find a decent 1908 shooter, preferably commercial, and have it converted and refinished to a "baby" by the forum's group of outstanding craftsmen. Then I will never be tempted to trade it off because it will be my "one of a kind" and very personal.
