I believe it was cocked. This is a bit of a curiosity, I could fire it again with a slightly warmer load and since I have polished the HO well and HO, and oiled it, it might just move better and not stick, I still am concerned about the spring and may replace for test purposed another HO that I no is sound in another Luger. Ted
