G.W. Bart is a smart mutt. He's just stubborn and has the typical selective hearing problem, like most Labs.
His mama was a registered German Wirehaired Pointer. His daddy was a traveling salesman.
I got him free at about 10 weeks of age. The day I brought him home he went to a classic point on a carpenter ant, crawling on the patio.
And I know what you mean. I don't know how many times I've tripped over him. Always has to be right at your feet.
