Hi kidvett!

Based on the limited information at hand, it sounds most like a Great War Imperial Contract Red Nine variation. Try comparing it to the pistol pictured here:

If it is identical in characteristics and markings (save serial number) then itÃ¢??s a Ã¢??Red NineÃ¢?Â. If it isnÃ¢??t identical, note the differences and come back :-)
