I have few questions regarding Luger grips:

What was the LPI (lines per inch) of the original checkering on the Luger grips?

Did the LPI alter over different variations?

$100 is not unreasonable for the CMR grips. With respect to other hanguns, Luger grips are one of the most difficult to make.

In addition, checkering grips takes a long time, even if you use a motorized checkering tool.
