Thanks Jerry and Ed! With that gun I started to spend real money into my collection, and I be proud of that gun of course. I did forget: It is a 1917 DWM, with a shiny barrel and If I told You already unit marked 164 R 7.6 which is the 164th Infanterie Regiment located in Hannover. The 1916 hoster is ink stamped "BA X" and which is the meaning of Bekleidungsamt Nr.10" also lokated in Hannover. The snail drum does not match.
The case is oak wood - which is getting more dark by the years.
