JimD,

My guess is that the trigger side plate might be from a 1929 W+F Bern luger. The width of your "vertical bar" on the side plate looks wide, wider than the ones the Swiss used on the 06/1924 W+F Bern, 3rd. variation.

In the Bobba Swiss Luger book, look at page 187...
I have scanned a part of the photo page, if you do not have this book....



From J. Walter's book, The Luger Book on page 90; "CV" stands for "Chrom-Nickel-Stahl" (i.e. made of chrome nickel steel) used on Swiss Bern lugers.
