Default 1913 Erfurt mismatch question

Hi Everyone, its great to be a part of this forum. I have been looking into buying my first Luger for awhile now and came across this one for $1250.

I am worried about a few things though and cant find answers yet for them. First is, the serial number 445 is lower than the start of the range it should be in.

Also, it looks like the toggle piece where the manufacturer stamp emblem is has been replaced with serial number ending in 48.

Should I stay clear of this one due to the mismatched numbered part and very early serial numbered range?

Thanks. Erik
