Inside/On Grip numbering/marking?

Cross posted this on Jan C. Still's sitea couple days ago. I know some members here are not on there. Looking for ideas/answers etc.
The numbers 11, on the inside/on grip well. You don't notice it until the mag is removed. I for a long time missed the marking. It is on the P08 in my Avatar, First Issue. The marking does not match the serial number or grip strap markings. To me it doesn't look like something by DWM, but not sure? Any ideas?
