Don't you suppose that someone used sandpaper to "imprint" their hand into the grip for personaliztion/customization reasons. IE Trench-art.
I agree that it would take a long time to realistically wear into the grip under battlefield, where the handgun was a secondary weapon. Once, again I wish they could talk because they would have some stories to tell. dju |
