There is an interesting Holster on Gunbroker Item #3284184 That has more questions than it anwers. It screams WW1 in configuration. Front and back, this holster was not made in 1943. Was it a WW1 holster brought from stores and if so why was it re-marked with a maker code? The waffenamt I can understand as it might be reinspected, but not a maker code. It would not have arrived back at a factory but brought from one Army depot to another to be distributed to troops. If this holster is indeed from Belgium I strongly suspect a re-stamp to make a WW1 holster more valuble by using a relatively rare date, 1943. Any thoughts? Jerry Burney
