Both are military issue. We can't comment on whether you paid too much for it...

In any event, Lugers vary considerably in value depending on where you live [geographically] and who/where you bought it from. Also whether you are young and can wait years for a 'good deal' or older and don't have all that many years left...

It also depends on whether you are a strict discerning collector or just an admirer.

As Doug said, Erfurts don't come up all that often. They're usually a good deal no matter what condition...IMHO...
