Question G date Luger

Lugers are like potato chips, can't have just one. (you guys warned me)
So here is another one I just purchased.
All #'s matching except mag, grips and toggle.
Question: Could this be a fractory re-work or did someone replace the toggle with the S/42 marking but the 80 Ser. #?
The gun is in excellent condition.
