The best appraisal is the one you make yourself. Search the auction results at RIA, James D. Julia, and Hermann Historica, comparing your pistol to their photos. Use a magnifying glass and a bright flashlight to examine and authenticate the finish on your Luger. Take many high resolution photos outdoors in indirect sunlight. Post the gun on Gunbroker.com with an appropriate reserve. Respond to all questions and requests from potential bidders promptly and courteously. Doubtless I am far from alone in being willing and able to bid on your Krieghoff.
