A really rare Luger what's the value

The gunsmith where I work at has a Luger that is supposable really rare. I have not seen it so I'm only telling his story here.

It was taken from a concentration camp from a us soldier when they liberated it. All the parts where taken before they were blued or stamped. He received it from his grandfather and assembled it. It's never been fired. How rare is this also is he blowing smoke or could this of happened?
