1914 Luger Ammo

Thanks for your posting. I already thought that the advise of the gun dealer is a bad idea. The P.08 was not created to use this high powered ammo.

But the gun dealer ment, that the WW2 ammo was even used for the MP 40 and the mechanismn of a luger needs hot ammo.
I had a friend using S&B ammo, he blew off the upper part of the gun. This happend in the late 1980s.
I used Remington 115 grain ammo (FMJ), this ammo worked just fine without any problems.
This is my first Luger and I just shot it last week for the first time.
