Thanks for your posting. I already thought that the advise of the gun dealer is a bad idea. The P.08 was not created to use this high powered ammo.
![]() But the gun dealer ment, that the WW2 ammo was even used for the MP 40 and the mechanismn of a luger needs hot ammo.I had a friend using S&B ammo, he blew off the upper part of the gun. This happend in the late 1980s. I used Remington 115 grain ammo (FMJ), this ammo worked just fine without any problems. This is my first Luger and I just shot it last week for the first time.
