Default lanyard loop removal

Info request

For target shooter luger project . I would like to remove the lanyard loop and fill in the milled recess and wire holes to have a smooth appearance at the back of luger frame

Plan to use a frame with no stock lug to have matching smooth appearance , so would be dwm mfg like early P08 military

Anyone know of gunsmith who does welding fill in work suitable for the lanyard loop removal and milled recess fill ?

Also - will reblue in the welded area show any traces of the alteration ? for this is rust blue or salt blue better or ? best

Welding effect on the frame stress areas like toggle ramps and toggle stop areas ?

thanks
Bill
