Default Luger Trigger Tuning

Novice shooters often disparage the Luger's trigger, owing to their lack of familiarity with its double-stage pull. Here is a definitive treatment of the Luger's design and construction, including the details of its trigger linkage. It bears notice that Swiss Lugers tend to have very uniform and crisp trigger pulls. One reason for that may be seen here:

The photo shows two lots from the Kessler auction of 23 August 2008:
  • 08445 WES Schnittmodell, Parabellum 29, Kal. 7,65 Para. Der Lauf ist nicht geschlitzt, deshalb WES-pflichtig. In Holzbox mit einer Manipulierpatrone. S/N 73998 | Sfr. 1000/2000.- siehe Abb. Zustand: neu | Sfr. 3300
  • 08332 Waffenmechaniker-Werkzeug, Abzugs-Winkelhebel-Richtwerkzeug der W+F zu Parabellum-Pistolen. Wird zur Druckpunkt-Regulierung gebraucht.
Sfr. 200/400.- siehe Abb. Zustand: neu | Sfr. 600
The armorer's tool of Lot 08332 allows precise regulation of the double pull trigger sustem.
