Default Preservative Oils Lifting Blueing?

Has anyone had any experience with saturating oils like WD 40 or Breakfree lifting the blueing on certain P-08 parts? I speak in particular about certain very hard steel luger parts where the blueing is more a surface coating than a deep penetrated color. Like the receiver, the rear of which often seems more plated with layered color than a color of depth. Is there a danger of lifting this color if the parts are soaked? Which oil do you use for your investment grade P-08's? Thank you.
