Ed, This Police Shako has no patina...I am no expert on these but I don't like the looks of it or the hardware attached. Looks too new to me.
At WA you can search out say POLICE SHAKO EMBLEM and all the posts concerning it will appear even if you cannot post I beieve. It's a great site to research TR items. Jerry Burney
