A few weeks ago I posted a photo of my 42 byf and asked if it had been refinished. I got some very knowledgable responses, but some said they needed more information.

Several said the absence of a scratch next to the safety lever was a good indication that it had been refinished. There is a very fine silver scratch where the safety lever travels, which is not picked up in the photo.

I tried to post some more pictures, but was too stupid to get it right. I think I have it straight now.
