The barrel has the same serial number as the frame. all the parts that are visible without taking the gun apart, have the same last 2 numbers of the complete serial number.I ordered the Vopo grips from Vern on this board to put on it. I know very little to nothing about Lugers. I have allot of USGI,garands ,1903a3,1911A1's and also a collection of old 5 screw and late model S&W revolvers. So I guess I will need to get some books on the Luger because one is never enough for me. I think I have an addiction.
