Well, I don't remember seeing any 100th Ann. P.06s, so I don't have high hopes for the P.08. Just for grins, who do you think would make it if it were to be made? Who has the drawings/machinery? Mitchell/Stoeger? Does Mauser still exist? We were talking about possible 100th Ann. 1911s on another forum, and of course there will be many varieties of those, because they're still being made (more every year). But the Luger is a bit of a sticky wicket. I imagine start-up costs would be enormous. A run of ten-thousand would probably cost $5000 each. I guess if Stoeger put out a run of stainless steel ones like before, that would be good enough, and could probably be done a lot cheaper. Still would be $1200, but that's about the threshold price for a commemorative, it seems. Would anybody want one?
