Police Holster

I completed my 8 mile walk at the Tulsa Gun Show today. I would like to know how bad I was taken on a holster I bought.
The tag said WWI artillery holster converted to police. It is black and you can't tell it has been shortened. On the front, near magazine holder, from the top to the bottom appears a line of stitch holes. On the outside of the flap there is a very light impression of what looks like a shield with the #25 in the center. On the outside back between the belt loops is what looks like a crown and below that I. On the top back edge away from magazine holder is the number 3760 below that SM915 that has been Xed
out. Below the Xed out numbers is a faint 687. I paid $100 how bad was I taken? Thanks Brushy SE Okla.
