Gene,
The asterisk shows up on the Forums as a topic every now and again. It can be found on the occasional P-38 and other pieces of military hardware as well as your Luger. There is lots of speculation, but the plain fact is, there is no evidence whatever to indicate what it really means. Big mystery. --Dwight |
