I bet some of you guys thought I was kidding in my "HUMOR: rating system" post:
http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...threadid=15998 Just got my 1934 Beretta last night. The complete, unedited description as it still appears on gunsamerica.com is: "Beretta Model 1934,.380 ACP caliber Italian Army Service pistol, blue finish,3-3/8" barrel, real Ivory grips with metal backs. Has RE under crown military proof mark on left rear of frame.90-95% overall condition. Bore is excellent.$350.00 plus $20.00 shipping costs." "Bore is excellent" translates to: 100% deep pitting of grooves, 10% pitting of lands, 50% wear of lands. The "90-95%" statement, not taking the barrel into consideration, is probably a bit exaggerated, but that falls into the realm of opinion. Seller's excuse: "it's a consignment".
