Not for myself, but the 'buy it now' indicates the seller doesn't expect to get too much. $600 might look like a good price in a couple of years.

Yours is in a little better condtion, bluing wise. I bid the opening amount, thinking I'd surely be bid against, but as it turned out I got it. From what the guys here tell me, I paid about what it's worth, but I did okay. It is the single most common Luger however.

Hi Steve. I used to own a commercial and love the balance of that model.
I was just thinking that the $600 'buy it now' price is reasonably good value for the apparent condition of the gun; nice finish and that touch of patina that only years can bestow. I'd probably buy it if I had the money. Stu |
