Default 1941 WaA869 gut P.08 holster. Value?

I have a 1941 WaA869 gut P.08. It is not a repo. Check the pics. What would this be worth. I was offered $150.00 for it. But I thought that is was low.

thanks for the time

First, welcome to the forum!

I always check prices on e-bay. You can see what approx values are there, and then look and see retail at Randy Bessler's, etc.

I think the price is fair, but low... looks like a nice holster...

Hi Brian,

Another Welcome to the Forum..!

As well, original P-08 holsters are going for silly prices as of late, so $150 looks very low based on current prices in the condition as yours. The stitching looks excellent - but I'd also ask that Jerry B. (on the Forum as "lugerholsterrepair") add his perspective...!

Brian, Ed and John have given you excellent advice. Do some research on eBay. That is pretty much the indicator of current market values.

This holster seems to be in pretty good condition. There are several right now on eBay that have a buy it now price of 500 bucks. I don't think they will get it but I have been wrong before.

I would estimate your holster is worth somewhere between 225 and 325 but the only real way to know is to offer it on auction.

Luger leather is fast becoming an expensive accessory. High quality and rarity drive this and your holster is reasonable collector quality although not rare.

Good luck and welcome to the Forum! Jerry Burney

Hey Brian,

You may want to list it in the LugerForum "for sale" below - and just post "Best Offer over the next (X) Days" (whatever time frame). Sort of like a silent auction with a minimum bid of whatever you decide. While this Forum isn't eBay (thank the Lord ) - it does have some pretty serious collectors..

Just thought..
