I just went through my first crisis as a new Luger owner. About a month after getting my Mauser 42, I started having failure-to-feed problems. Knowning that John Sabato lives in in my area, I stated bombarding him with e-mails. John graciously talked me through several recommended solutions and answered a lot of my silly questions. Unfortunately, despite John's best efforts, we couldn't get to the root of the problem. I then went and cried on Tom Heller's shoulder. He immediately and correctly identified a poor fitting trigger lever as the source of the problem. Deciding to pass on the do-it-yourself route, I shipped the gun to Tom. He fixed the gun the same afternoon he got it. If the rains hadn't kept him from the range and test firing, I would have got my baby back the next day. My thanks to both gentlemen. This is truly a special spot on the web.

Your gentlemanly participation makes this the special spot on the web that you speak of. I'm glad Tom Heller was able to help out.

No thanks needed John, as that's my main business: fixing lugers and selling the parts to others who do the same.
