hello,

just coming in your forum (great !)...

can anybody tell me:
1/ differences between original and repro luger cleaning rods ?
2/ is there any marking/stamp on Erfurt cleaning rods ?

Christian, I've owned a few original LPO8 cleaning rods that were Imperial proofed (crown over a letter) on the steel rod or wood handle, but most are not proofed. It's sometimes difficult to tell the good repros from the originals, but the placement of the grooves on the wood barrel is a good place to start. TH
