Right !
First 2 photos are grainy and horrible, but there are nice close-ups of the pitting along the left side of the receiver and frame front. rear toggle pin looks un-blued, too ? |

No comments in the description on the "pitting" and the obvious refinish. Lack of knowledge or willful exceptions?

Its a consignment pistol, so seller probably has not laid eyes on it.
I think it's also a police luger. |

Used
all but early assembly 1936, 1937, 1938 early type 1 1940 Military guns [barrel proof on right side] Most type 1 commercials [crown N] Some early type 2 commercials [eagle N] They appear to be issue grips as the mag release button cutouts are not screwed up. Replacement ones can be messed up there. |
