Default I am researching a DWM artillery model P08

I purchased a DWM artillery model pistol which has an undated frame without Imperial proof stamps. All small parts have the same last 2 digits of the 4 digit serial number and the frame is also stamped GERMANY. It has the attach point on the grip frame for a shoulder stock. In some ways it appears to have commercial evidence yet in others it has definite military evidence. It does not appear to have been in battlefield conditions and the bluing on the barrel looks too good to be in the field. It also does not appear to have a "halo" around the barrel serial number. I think it might be a 1920 "rework" but would appreciate your review to help with it's provenance. Thank you.

Your photos don't help. May I suggest you show close-up clear photos of any proofs bot right and left side.

The rear sight is not an artillery but seems off of something else?

gotta agree with sdmark777 on this one Jer .... It's just the angle and high aim setting throwing us off.

I mean we are looking directly down the mag cavity which means the barrel is at about 45 degrees to the horizon.

Anyway I love artillery's Don and yours is no exception.

The pictures are not very useful - dark, fuzzy and out of focus.

I agree about the rear sight - it looks like the right one, but it is raised and the angle is deceiving.

But, over all, it looks like a decent long barrel commercial.

It's the suffix that I'm pondering. My best guess is a "t", but it's so strange looking.

I agree Mac Cat ... looks like a definite 't' to me as well ... would love a full on pic of the barrel serial number to confirm the 't'.
It's interesting that the suffix appears to have a pronounced halo while the actual serial numbers have faint or non-existent halo's ... still love it though Don
