So, I have this first model Bing Trommel Magazine. But the B/N stamp on the winder side was double stamped. This is an original mag. So is this rare and valuable like a double date penny?!
![]() Seriously though, anyone else ever found double stamps on these mags? Is it common or one just slipped through......? |

The die bounced or was struck twice; if anything it is a detractor not a plus. JMHO.

I was completely joking about increasing value or being a plus. I'm just curious if you guys have seen much of this. It is so uncharacteristic for German firearms of the past.

I have a question for you experts. Were the serial numbers, cartridge numbers and B/N stamps originally white'd in on these? I never messed with this drum, the white filled stamps are how I got it a long time ago.

No they were not. I don't think it helps OR hurts. These are very desirable mags and it sure wouldn't bother me.
