1940 42 Luger ID/valuation?

Hi all,

I was directed here via the CalGuns forums.

This is a bring-back from someone in my family (long-deceased, and no more details are known other than that). It has been kept clean and unfired. Numbers on the pistol match, and has 2 magazines, one with matching serial to the pistol, and one non-matching. . Can anyone here provide more info or a guess as to valuation based on condition of bluing, etc? Any insight appreciated!

You really need to post photos directly to the site here. On my phone, at least, I am unable to enlarge your images. The pistol looks original, with some areas of higher than usual wear. In this condition, with one matching magazine, maybe $1,800. The additional magazine another $130, or so.
