"162.R.11.3" George Anderson provided a wonderful narrative below~ The pistol was issued to the 11th Company of Infantry Regiment 162. Included is a First model 1916 German issue Stahlelm with original camouflage painting added by the Germans in 1918 or 1918. Its marked on the interior "Gefr. Schoo.II.Batl.I.R.162" Awesome!
