Wow! That "high reef" engraving is nice.

Yes. There isn't a decent overall picture in the entire lot. And they want "how much?" with pictures like that?

Presentation pieces were almost always named. Nothing here to indicate it is a Nazi presentation piece. The engraving is not all that impressive either.

Not to mention, "1908 First Issue Erfurt, reworked by DWM Super Rare Lug Stock Removed." The depth of luger knowledge is profound.

FWIK in the Nazi era they had many Walther PPK as "presentation pieces" but very few Lugers.
About engraved Lugers I post again an interesting article.

Not without charm, but not really my cup of tea. My billfold agrees.

The engraving is not too bad. I have seen much better, and much worse also. The photos are so poorly taken, that I can't really give it a good look-see....perhaps that was intentional, can't say. That price is out of line from what I can see.....at least that is my opinion, others may disagree.

When it rains, there will be a puddle in the driveway with deeper Luger knowledge.

German engraving, so we hear, tends to be oak-leaf oriented--which this seems to be.
