Default von dutch waffenfabrik ?

an excellent car magazine usually with some historical pictures

ebay lead photo is apparently a page in the issue from a Von Dutch article

barrel looks very lugerish
appears to be a perhaps one-off custom target pistol
looks automatic with a swing up barrel
anyone seen one like that ?

Now that you mention it, some of the totenkopf skulls do look like some of Von Dutch's work!

I remember some of his artwork from when I was a kid building model kits...I may even have had one of his T-shirts...

I was saddened to hear of his death...

The pistol is pretty wild looking...

As I recall, the pistol was handmade by Von Dutch himself.

Do you recall any more about it, Ron? Caliber, semi-auto, why/when he made it???

I can't tell if this is the same one, but here's a leech from Cycle World, Nov 2010 -

Von Dutch also crafted guns and knives. This scratch-built .45-caliber black-powder pistol, a twin to one given to McQueen, sold for $14,040.
