Hi George
Purchased it from a small gun shop. It was there on consignment. I to, as Dave was a little baffled on the markings. I left without buying also, but after a day of thinking about I went back and purchased it. I guess Dave waited two days (: Dave, we'll have to get together for beers some day. That is sad. I've purchased three nice pieces from there. Along with war time holsters and magazines. It was one of my favorite stops when I'm in that area.
They use to take in many of their guns in on consignment. I talked to Clide just recently. He took in a Luger, C96 and a P.38. All pristine from what a friend told me that seen them in person. All on the pricy side so I never made it down there to look at them. (Was afraid to be tempted). Really sorry to hear they are closed. ![]() Bob |

Bob,
It's been quite awhile that I have been over there but your right Clyde seemed to do alot of consignment stuff. Some of the stuff at times was unique he got in. A guy I know that I ran into told me on Saturday he was all done. It's sad to see the small shops slowly disappear.
