Thanks for the great pics!
I am thinking these are pics from a Mauser factory anniversary book from the 1930's. ![]() Saw that book for sale once,to expensive for me! ![]() My favorite pic is of Alvin's dream job! Shooting brand new Mauser C96's all day! Where do I apply! ![]() Didn't realize Mauser made sewing machines as well?? ![]() Bob

Mr. Schroeder had an article on a digest talking about Mauser's non-gun collectibles. If I remembered right, Mauser also made car, barber's trimmer, micrometer, etc in 1920s. Mauser was more fortunate on having international commercial market and did not totally depend on German military/police contracts, but they still made many non-gun stuffs in that era.

I once had a crude Kyber Pass copy of a M1900 FN marked "Mouser". One way to avoid copy right problems. TH

http://www.ebay.com/itm/German-Wilhe...item564b45bb76 Price is just too much but if it is original as seller claims to be and published in 1938 - it is a collectable item for sure. |
