Default A good day to go shooting

Great day to shoot. If you havn't figured it out i not only collect firearms i shoot them. i am lucky in i do not have to go to a range. I own property or have access to many places to shoot. Like i said in this i am very lucky and blessed. using winchester white box 115 fmj and a 1918 1920 double stamp, 9mm, without a malfuction of any kind. Lugers are not only great to collect but to shoot. I do believe you will agree.

today i took a good friends 13 year old grandson to shoot. He loves firearms and reads and studys about them in his spare time. An excellant student, and a very safe and good shot. When he found out he was not only going to be able to hold his first luger but to be able to shoot one, well he was happy. The young man did very well, once he got past the excitement.

If we do not do something to keep our youth interested, where will the sport be???? most have never seen a real gun accept in a movie or on a video game. The price of ammo and time well spent . Put a smile on my face to actualy see a young man so excited he was going to shoot a luger that he shook, an afternoon well spent.

young dillon firing my HK p7 9mm, he got to fire two rare german pistols in the same day. Put a smile on both our faces. He has a very keen interest in firearms, and has helped me at gunshows, as well as the the local war veterans home. After yesterday's session his interest in lugers went to the top of his firearms list. i predict a future owner and collector.

Padre Dan
Great job. In my limited way,I have always tried to spread the word that shooting is fun and you should try it. I have alway enjoyed inviting folks to go shooting with me, especially if they never have tried it. I have taken my sons boy scout troop shooting several times at our local indoor range. We always get great participation. We always get siblings and parents to come along and try it.All the kids have a great time. Its great when parents decide to join in(many have never shot a gun!) and have fun. Even if they decide not to participate,at least they can see that guns owners are not a bunch of crazy weirdos as the MSM likes to portray us.
