This is a TDJ done for Dok by Thor as I understand it.
Dok might want to elaborate. |

Okay.....here's the deal! It's plastic, like I said before. When Dok started making these great cases, he needed a full size Luger, or mock up to make sure they were the right size in the right places. He didnt have his Jewel yet, so he bought this kit Luger from Wombat and built it and painted it. It is a model, like a model train or plane, it is a spring gun that fires plastic BBs..CAPICE?? Ja.... Capice!

Remember that DOK is in Bermuda when he's making these - and Bermuda has some very restrictive handgun ownership laws (which DOK tried to explain to me during his visit ) Anyway - they also have some fairly complex laws regarding even ownership/purchase of ammunition..! So - the plastic replica allows DOK to model the cases...

OK OK OK
Where can I get one of those? Probably a lot cheaper than the ones I have been buying . . . . . and it probably looks better. Luke |

Wasn't trying to pull a fast one, but all the explanations are accurate. But you'll get to see some of my new model aquisitions which I had shipped to GT's house... a Broomhandle, a P.38 and a Colt M1911. All replicas for use in making cases (cuz I can't have the real things )

Dok (Les...),
Boy, I thought Dan Clemons and I and others in California had it tough when it comes to owning guns. Is it really true, in Bermuda, you can't even own one for home defense ? Seems to me plastic lugers would be a little like Internet-sex... |

You cannot own a handgun for ANY purpose! And while you can belong to a rifle club and own a rifle, youcannot possess ammunition. In order to to shoot, you must go to the range when EVERYONE else goes, and the only guy who's allowed to have ammo(.22 cal only) will be there, and he will issue your ammo and take back any unused ammo before you leave. I refuse to be part of THAT farse!!! I had to apply for a firearms license (and wait 2 months) just to possess non-firing replicas!

Dok,
Would it be out of place to ask if you make the cases to order and how much? Spencer |
