Default A German Panzer Shells Ashtray I'm told!

An old German client brought it back. From what he told me get traded it from a German tanker. The nazis marked everything including their toilet paper I'm sure! Did my client dupe me? Are the shell from a tank or artillery? When He gave it to me it was screwed in upside down like the top two images! I'll probobly drop it on my injured ankle.

Eric, I am starting a Trench Art book (mainly pictures to show examples), I know there are several other books.

Send me thse in hi-rez format and I'll include it in the book.

If I can get enough submissions, i think a lot of folks have cartridges, markings on cases, holsters, stocks, they are all trench art

Take pictures with a neutral background (ironed tan or light but not white sheet or even better a oak wood table or the like) and send them to me without shrinking
