HI
I have a question for all luger collector's. Was late lugers form 1940 and later lugers has the coupling link blued. Or was all of them in the grayish color? I was told that ater 1940 they were blued?? I have a 1941 byf and it has a grayish coupling and I have a 1940 42 with a blued one?? Regards Bob |

Hi Bob, My experience is that these pins were blued prior to assembly, and are often lighter or darker in color than the gun itself. Regards, Norm

I'm now confused. Are we talking about the axel pins, which join each link of the toggle train together or are we talking about the toggle links themselves?
