Greetings, all,
Been on the forum 6 mo. or so, and since my CCW permit arrived recently (I promised an update on the details and timing of the procurement process, will get to that eventually...) and I've had my RIAC purchases transferred to me, it's time to start messing with the digital camera and setup to document these Lugers. My first attempt at posting a pic is the holster that accompanied a DWM 1917/1920: OK, the pic preview seems to work, though maybe the file could be larger? Anyway, my feeble analysis of this one is that it started as a police issue and was converted to military. Photos of inside (shows the remnants of the lifting strap), back, and all markings to come. No date on it that I've yet found. How'm I doing so far? (Yes, I will carefully remove the verdegris.) David Parker |

I may be wrong, but I would think that it started out as a military and was converted to police use.
