Default 30 Luger to 9mm Luger

I recently aquired an Alphabet commercial in 30 Luger. If I am able to find a 9mm upper how likely is it to fit on my Commercial frame?

I am aware of a 9mm upper unit that is being sold.

TIA

As long as it is all P-08 there should be no issues.
I once bought a .30 commercial Luger AND a WW1 Navy top end only. Fit right on and became my #1 shooter. So in my experience they should fit right together, but lets see what others say.

I own a 1920 Alphabet Luger with the short bbl. in 30Luger, and was able to locate and purchase, a 1940 receiver that had a new 6in 9mm bbl. attached. I had to have it head spaced to my breachblock, but it fits the commercial frame and works. I am still playing with springs, mags, ammo, etc. in an attempt to get both calibers to perform 100%. I may never make it, but I am a persistent soul, and a handloader, which I think will help a bit.

technically the springs are the only things that need adjusting, but otherwise they are interchangeable.
