I discovered to my chagrin that these are case hardened, and should you try to bend one it will break. If anyone knows of one for sale I'm in the market. I saw the one in GB but my bid of $65 was rejected. Mine still works, it is just cracked. I may find it easier to mill one from solid, or bend from 1095,shape, and heat treat.

If you want to repair/restore your cracked grip safety, I could weld and resurface it for you.
